Join us at Nova from 17 to 19 July 2026 for a special Women’s Dive Day celebration led by Zoona Naseem, the first Maldivian female PADI Course Director, alongside Nova’s resident marine biologist, Jenna Lehocki.
Set within the marine-rich waters of South Ari Atoll, this three-day experience brings together adventure, connection, and inspiration for women who share a love for the ocean.
At the heart of the experience is the opportunity to meet and learn from Zoona, whose journey to becoming the Maldives’ first female PADI Course Director continues to inspire a new generation of women in diving. Together with Jenna, guests will take part in conversations that celebrate ocean exploration, marine conservation, and the connections that form when people come together through a shared passion for the underwater world.
Whether you are taking your first breaths underwater or already feel at home beneath the surface, this immersive programme invites you to explore the ocean alongside a community of like-minded women. Guided dives, marine encounters, and expert-led experiences create space to build confidence, share stories, and discover the transformative power of the sea.
Nova’s island home sits within the South Ari Marine Protected Area, one of the Maldives’ most celebrated marine environments. With 35 dive sites nearby and year-round opportunities to encounter whale sharks, manta rays, turtles, and vibrant coral reefs, every dive offers the possibility of a memorable encounter. Guests can also participate in coral planting experiences and gain deeper insight into Nova’s ongoing marine conservation initiatives.
Beyond the dives, guests can unwind in the island’s laid-back surroundings, enjoy nourishing dining experiences, connect with fellow ocean lovers, and embrace moments of reflection inspired by the rhythm of the sea.
