Located in the west of the archipelago, South Ari Atoll is home to an aquatic dream world. With pinnacles and channels covered in colourful overhangs, and shipwrecks only a few minutes away, Nova is a place where you can escape into a majestic marine world — whether it is at the house reef or the outer atoll channel. Witness the year-round population of whale sharks, manta rays and numerous other colourful aquatic life.


The pelagic heaven of South Ari Atoll is home to an abundance of marine life. The constant flow of plankton-rich waters between the channels supplies the colourful marine ecosystem and makes the sites home to various fishes. Though the atoll is known for larger marine life species, from Whale Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks to Manta Rays, the waters are also home to many others, including Oriental Sweetlips, Clown Triggerfish, big Barracudas, Scorpion Fish, Nudibranchs and schools of Oriental Sweetlips.
